Join Main Street Community Foundation’s Men & Boys’ Fund for the MVP Breakfast on June 6, 2024. The breakfast will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bristol, with seats at $40 person. Breakfast and registration will be from 7:30-8am, and the program will begin at 8am. The guest speaker for the event will be Dave Stevens, a true inspiration who is the only legless player in sports history to have played NCAA football and minor league baseball. Dave then went on to win seven Emmys as a sports journalist during 20 years at ESPN. Now, after 40 years in broadcasting, he's a motivational speaker and television host while teaching and being an ambassador for individuals with disabilities. His message of hope: You can overcome any obstacle and live your “impossible” dream.

Proceeds from this event will support grants to programs assisting men and boys in Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington, and Wolcott. Since its establishment in 2016, MSCF has awarded over $63,000 in grants from the Men & Boys’ Fund to local organizations that work to make a positive impact on the lives of men and boys; in 2023 alone, $13,205 was awarded to six organizations.
