Main Street Community Foundation Fall Grant Cycles Open

MSCF is currently accepting applications from nonprofit organizations seeking grants for programs and initiatives that benefit the communities of Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington, and Wolcott. The Online Grants Center can be accessed through the Foundation’s website, mainstreetfoundation.org/apply-for-grant, which includes a link to the online grant applications and the grant guidelines. Applications are being accepted for grants from the following funds:

Women & Girls Fund - Successful grant applications will address one of the three priority areas for local women and girls identified by community partners, which are services for senior women, confidence building and leadership, and mental health and well-being. Please see the Foundation website for further details on these priority areas. The deadline to apply is September 6.

Bradley Henry Barnes and Leila Upson Barnes Memorial Trust - Nonprofit organizations may submit letters of inquiry (LOIs) for new capital projects, programs, or initiatives that improve the health outcomes of Southington residents. The deadline to submit LOIs is September 20. Continued funding applications will open September 27.

Men & Boys’ Fund – Grant applications must demonstrate the need for a program or initiative that assists local men and boys in improving the quality of their lives, increasing their self-sufficiency, and making a positive difference in their community. The deadline to apply is September 20.

Interested organizations should contact Kate Kerchaert, Director of Grants & Programs, at kate@mainstreetfoundation.org, or another member of the grantmaking department, at 860.583.6363 for a preliminary discussion of their proposal at least one week prior to the deadline.
