Scholarships Available for Students Interested in Animal Science
Main Street Community Foundation is excited to announce the establishment of the Animal Rescue Foundation Helen & Scott Lowe Scholarship Fund. This scholarship, established by the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF), honors the memory of Helen Lowe, and her husband Scott, who left a generous bequest to the Terryville animal shelter.
Scholarships from this fund will be available annually to graduating seniors from Terryville High School and Lakeview High School who are pursuing post-secondary education or career training in the animal science field. Students can be attending a technical/vocational school or a community, state, or private college or university. The deadline to apply for this inaugural scholarship is March 7 at 11:59pm.
