This fund was established to honor the short life of baby Kai Alejandro Yagual Betts who passed away at just four months old. Grants from this fund will be awarded to nonprofit organizations that provide support services to families who suffer an unexpected or untimely death of an infant under the age of two. Services may include: peer bereavement groups, burial/cremation financial assistance to low income parents, educational programs for medical professionals and other services to raise awareness of the effects of infant loss on families.
