Graduating high school seniors who are classified as legally blind or visually impaired and are residents of Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington or Wolcott are eligible for a new scholarship recently established at Main Street Community Foundation. Applications for the Bristol Lions Club/James J. Keating Scholarship Fund are being accepted through June 3; one $2,800 scholarship will be awarded. The Bristol Lions Club/James J. Keating Scholarship Fund was established by the Bristol Lions Club in 2022 with a bequest previously received from the estate of Mark M. Keating. The scholarship honors the memory of Mr. Keating’s father, James J. Keating.
