William J. Tracy, Jr., Esq. Memorial Fund

Established:
2025
Fund Type:
Unrestricted Community Fund

William J. Tracy, Jr. passed away in October 2024. Bill, as he was known, served on the Main Street Community Foundation board of directors for 16 years and served every officer position, retiring from the board in 2015. He continued to volunteer his time through committee service. He was instrumental in so many initiatives, strategies, policies, and governance procedures that have made MSCF the foundation it is today. He had a calming and reassuring presence and always provided sage advice on the most complicated issues facing the Foundation.

While Bill’s legacy will carry on through the many organizations and individuals who benefited from his mentoring, teaching and leadership, the Foundation Board together with his family and friends, including his colleagues at Furey, Donovan, Cooney & Dyer P.C., established this fund to honor him in perpetuity. This unrestricted community fund will support the emerging and changing needs of the communities served by the Foundation through grants where they are needed most.
